The Super Bowl of race-car driving takes place Memorial Day weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway -- home to the infamous Indy 500. And without a doubt big money will be riding on four-time NASCAR Cup and three-time Daytona 500 champion Jeff Gordon, the poster boy for American racing.
Now, truly ambitious (nay, daredevil) fans can do more than cheer for Gordon -- they can train with him. In late 2005, the speed demon extraordinaire opened the Jeff Gordon Racing School in Concord, New Hampshire. For $75, you can ride alongside the legend for eight turns around the track. For a mere $3,000, you're behind the wheel for a day and a half -- 70 laps -- testing your speed and endurance with a logo cap thrown in for good measure.
