If you could learn the date of your own death, would you? It's an old philosophical question that is gaining relevance and attention following an Associated Press report that geriatric researchers have devised a point system for determining Baby Boomers' risk of dying in the next five years.

The controversial test, which is reportedly 81 percent accurate for people over 50, takes into account existing conditions like diabetes, as well as a patient's smoking history and his ability to push a living room chair across the room without gasping for breath. What it fails to consider: family medical history, diet, blood pressure or cholesterol.

So, take it with a grain of salt, but do take the Death Test nonetheless.
