Men's Journal polled some 11,000 trainers in its quest to devise the ultimate half-hour workout. The result is an exercise plan that is a lot harder than it looks.

The workout does not include much work with free weight and none that work muscles individually. The emphasis is on large, coordinated movements to avoid the muscle-bound look of traditional body builders. Anyone who can do this workout in 30 minutes is in pretty good shape to begin with.
