Career Anchors Assessment Tool

Developed by MIT Professor Edgar Schein, the Career Anchors book and self-assessment are designed to provide you with a clear sense of who you are and what you are good at, as well as providing insight into your underlying personal values motivations.  This essential self-image -- which embodies competence, motives, and values -- is your "career anchor."

Although the Career Anchors site is designed primarily for use by career counselors and life coaches, you can take the test without the involvement of a professional administrator.  Instructions for individuals taking the test on their own are available through a link on the right-hand side of the home page.  Access the site at CareerAnchorsOnline.com The price for the test is $40.
